NYCULT is an independent streetwear brand founded by Brooklyn-born Robert Rivera. Shaped by the neighborhoods, music, art, and everyday style of New York, the brand brings a personal perspective to clothing and headwear.
Our origins
NYCULT began with the culture Robert grew up around: neighborhood basketball courts, corner bodegas, graffiti, hip-hop, and the people who gave each block its character. Those experiences inform a collection rooted in city life, with an appreciation for the details that make New York unmistakable.
The meaning of NYCULT
Short for New York Cult, NYCULT reflects a shared connection to the city and its creative spirit. At its core is the duality of New York life: beauty and grit, struggle and ambition, darkness and light. The signature halo and horns express those contrasts in a single mark.
Our approach
Our designs draw from vintage sportswear, neighborhood style, and New York's visual history. Familiar silhouettes meet expressive graphics and considered details, balancing bold identity with everyday wearability. Each collection honors the city's past while making room for a new perspective.
